Cleveland TN -- The Spring Fling 30 Championships took place this weekend at Cleveland Speedway. The Claimer Late Model and the Super Late Model division's battled 30 lap features to the delight of Tennessee Valley area race-fans around the 1/3 mile clay banked racing facility.

In the end James Gamble (# 27) of Ooltewah TN (CLM) and former track champion Kevin Gibson (# M45) of Ringgold GA (SLM) filed their first win of the new season. Jerry Coffman (# 30) of Soddy Daisy collected his second in a row UMP Open Wheel Modified feature. Doug Works (# 35) of Cleveland TN won the Hobby feature. In the Pony Stocks Justin Winters (# J1) of Benton TN again reigned supreme over a strong stampede of competitors. The evening finale of Street Stocks was anything less than brutal as Herbert Chambers (# 31) of Cleveland TN outlasted the demolition derby style 12 lap anything goes feature.
