Cleveland TN -- John Jones of Ringgold Georgia raced to his third win of the Y2K racing season at Cleveland Speedway Saturday night. The red "Fisher Paint & Body, Hicks Specialty Welding" #J1 racecar pilot won the first 10 lap heat race then went on to win the 30 lap "A" Main. Jones took the lead at the start of the feature leaving fellow heat race winner Dewayne Smith to fall into second. Lamar Scoggins and cousin "Little John" Owenby raced for third with Rick Hixson finishing fifth.
