All Andy Dill had to do Saturday night at Cleveland Speedway to win his second career Track Championship was to start the "A" Main feature race. The driver of "The Big Orange Machine" did what was necessary, and much more as the # 39 "Suttles Trucking and Construction, Fine Homes" sponsored racecar swept the competition winning all events of Super Late Model action.

Dill set fast time in qualifying time trials turning a 15:043 second lap. The first of two heats pitted Dill against third fast qualifier rookie Randy Burrows. Burrows was able to handle second, keeping Kevin Gibson in check in third. Second fast qualifier Dewayne Smith held down the top spot of the second heat race. Mike Tinker ran second with Kent Hicks third. Dill raced into the lead at the start of the feature enroute to his season high 5TH SLM win of the season. Smith chased Dill the entire 30 laps as rookie Burrows attempted to over-throw leading rookie contender John Owenby from the top spot with a third place run. Kevin Gibson and Mike Tinker battled for fifth with Owenby finishing in the sixth spot. Despite the double points for the feature Owenby was able to retain the Rookie of the Year title. Kent Hicks, DeWayne Wilson, Phillip Davis, and Tim Daniels rounded out the top ten.

Other division championships were decided and finalized Saturday night at Cleveland Speedway. James Gamble and Richard Dixon locked up their respective divisions (CLM, Hobby) prior to Saturday night. Justin Winters and Anthony Hawkins raced to win in their respective divisions (Pony, Street) that locked them into the division championships. And Glen Seaton III won the new CLM Novice Award for first year Late Model type racers.
