Instructors

"Everyone involved in the Cleveland Speedway Driving School has extensive racing experience," said Joe Lee Johnson former Cleveland Speedway owner/promoter and winner of the first World 600."They not only know how to win races they have done everything involved with fielding and driving winning race cars."

Skip Arp to lead Cleveland Speedway Driving School

Skip Arp will now be the chief instructor at the east Tennessee school.

“Arp has a lot of experience on and off the track. Over the years he has proven himself on the track and in the classroom,” said Cleveland Speedway’s Driving School’s Monty Morrow. “Arp and I agree that the best school environment for a student is with smaller classes. We are aiming for around five students per class. This will enable the students to have more one-on-one instruction and scheduling of classes will be more flexible.”

There will be a variety of guest instructors and different specialists at different schools. Students will be able to turn laps in a GRT, Warrior, Rocket chassis or a Rayburn chassis on request.
